ARTIST NOTES: Every summer we sketch at the Blue Lotus Water Garden. This painting was built up from an underpainting, using both opaque and glaze layers. The glazes allowed me to achieve that vibrancy and depth I was after.

ARTIST BIO

Wendy was born in Canada to an Australian father and a Canadian mother, and moved to Australia in the 1970s with her family. Working mainly in oils, her work has exhibited and sold in major art shows and group exhibitions.
